At Scanlan’s, we know that sheep farms in WA are often run by generations of wool-growing families, making it a vocation, not just a job. We know that woolgrowers work tirelessly to care for their farm and their sheep, carefully managing their land to meet the needs not only of their generation, but of future generations too.
The demand for wool has declined with the advent of synthetic fibres however we are pushing for a shift towards wool – a natural, organic, biodegradable fibre - to keep this beautiful fibre in our lives for generations to come.
We are proudly doing our part by creating a retail market for your wool. Not just marketing wool as a fibre but quite literally using YOUR own wool, from the sheep grazing on your own land, to create new and exciting wool clothing and products.
We are doing this through our wool clothing label, Swoolly by Scanlan, designing and making pieces that are timeless, trans-seasonal and of impeccable quality.
At Swoolly by Scanlan we are working hard to encapsulate functional, long lasting garments that reflect the Australian lifestyle.
